Abstract

Poverty reduction remains one of the most important socio-economic priorities in developing countries, including Uzbekistan [1]. In recent years, the government of Uzbekistan has implemented large-scale economic reforms aimed at improving living standards, increasing employment, and ensuring sustainable economic growth [2]. This article examines the macroeconomic mechanisms for reducing poverty in Uzbekistan and analyzes the role of economic growth, employment policy, investment activity, inflation control, and social protection systems in improving household welfare [3]. The study also highlights the importance of entrepreneurship development, human capital investment, and regional economic support in addressing poverty issues [4]. The research is based on statistical analysis, comparative methods, and the study of international experiences. The findings indicate that stable macroeconomic policies and inclusive economic growth are essential factors in reducing poverty and achieving long-term socio-economic development in Uzbekistan [5].
